Matthew's Seafood House is nestled among the sandy Bay Walk of the Ocean Beach community on Fire Island, NY. A two minute walk from the ferry terminal east along Bay Walk will bring you right to our fresh market, restaurant, dock and bar.

Our chef works with local reputable seafood purveyors to obtain only the freshest seafood from local waters and beyond. We offer restaurant and market guests dozens of seafood varieties at the peak of their seasons, including Northwest Salmon, Hawaiian Mahi Mahi, Maine Lobsters and a large selection of shellfish, just to name a few.

The "Daily" View

Matthew's restaurant menu offers daily specials in addition to featuring a "Fresh List" of more than 20 seafood species. Guests will also find traditional fare such as chicken, steak and pasta. The special board is updated to reflect the fresh deliveries arriving throughout the day.

Handcrafted Cocktails

The Matthew's attitude of fresh preparation is maintained through our mixology. Our bartenders are like chefs in their own right when hand-crafting traditional cocktails. Classic drinks, such as martinis, Irish coffee, single malt whiskeys and bourbons are complemented with modern favorites like lemon drops, cosmopolitans and more.
